MikeyPod 19 | Houston Farmer’s Market

October 11, 2005 by Michael Harren
MikeyPod Album art by John Ong

Last week, Riding with the Window Down’s Chris Doelle and I combined forces to bring you a soundseeing tour of the Houston Farmer’s Market. Here’s who we ran into:

Honi from Jolie Vue Farms.
Anita from A Remarkable Experience
Janet from ???? (sorry, I didn’t write anything down)
Gus- again I didn’t catch the name of his farm, but his story gives a strong argument for organic farming.
Janice from Words and Foods. I bought her Potato, Orange and Rosemary Soup. It kicked ass.
Robin from Central City Co-op

About Michael Harren

Brooklyn-based composer and performer Michael Harren combines elements of classical composition with experimental electronics and storytelling to create hypnotic and boldly intimate work that walks the line between Laurie Anderson, Peter Gabriel and Dead Can Dance.
