The story behind the place is totally fascinating. Once again, thanks for sharing this.
I checked Google Maps…
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Koinonia+Georgia&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=33.160552,64.6875&ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=31.989187,-84.298739&spn=0.017326,0.031586&t=h&om=1
Maybe when you’ve got an evening and some bandwidth to spare, you could look at the map and point out some of the features of the place, maybe go on a soundscape walk and point out the path you took from place to place.

I am really glad that you are digging these shows….more people need to know about this place….seriously…or is it just me getting over excited?
I tried checking out that link- i’m not sure I was looking at the same map you were talking about. I need to bust out the video camera and do a vid cast, but I live in fear of how long it would take to upload it it on this satellite nonsense.

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Ellie Castle and her husband, Dave. They are such awesome and sweet people. Koinonia is such a phenomenal place. I am taking my 3 year old back down this summer, despite what I’ve heard about the hot summer heat. This lady, Ellie, though… Oh is she something! Thank you for getting her on file!
