MikeyPod 184 | Singer Marcus Goldhaber

July 16, 2015 by Michael Harren

I’m so excited about today’s guest, Marcus Goldhaber, who has just come across my radar recently. I caught his show last Sunday  at Bar Thalia and was blown away by his talent and charming stage presence.  We talk about his approach to singing and songwriting and have a great chat about the evolution of the music industry and how we see ourselves within it. Of course, I included a few selections from his fantastic album, A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening.

Check it out and please comment, subscribe and share the show far and wide. Thank you for listening and if you’re on NYC, be sure to check out Marcus at 54 Below on July 25th!

Music:
Somebody In Love
Top Hat, White Tie and Tails
She Knows
(All selections from Marcus Goldhaber’s latest album, A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening.)

About Michael Harren

Brooklyn-based composer and performer Michael Harren combines elements of classical composition with experimental electronics and storytelling to create hypnotic and boldly intimate work that walks the line between Laurie Anderson, Peter Gabriel and Dead Can Dance.
