MikeyPod 336 | The Violin Channel’s Geoffrey John Davies

September 29, 2021 by Michael Harren
Geoffrey John Davies

Long before the dawn of social media influencers, Geoffrey John Davies decided to try out a new website called YouTube to share his love for music and all things violin. Well over a decade later, The Violin Channel has become the worlds #1 classical music news service. On today’s podcast, I talk with Geoffrey about this idea that dramatically changed the course of his life, and one of his latest projects with the channel, The Vanguard Concerts.

Geoffrey John Davies is the New York-based Australian founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of The Violin Channel — a leading international classical music news, media, and streaming platform, with a combined reach of more than 1 million followers and subscribers. Davies founded The Violin Channel in 2009, and was recently named one of Musical America‘s 30 Most Influential Arts Professionals in the World.

Follow The Violin Channel on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
