About Michael Harren

Brooklyn-based composer and performer Michael Harren combines elements of classical composition with experimental electronics and storytelling to create hypnotic and boldly intimate work that walks the line between Laurie Anderson, Peter Gabriel and Dead Can Dance.

FYI, the promo I use for your podcast is one I mixed down from your normal promo to make it 30 seconds. I figure it’s G-rated enough.

    Need it?

    Oh Mikey!

You rip CDs then get rid of them? Don’t you know that is illegal? Bad Mikey!

Wait! It’s not illegal, is it? Anyway, when iTunes makes a decent music file available that isn’t protected, I will stop buying CDs. 🙂

Yes very illegal…just ask Sony and any other music label. Most of them don’t even allow you to rip songs from your own cd to put onto iPod or anyother mp3 player. According to them it’s not just about sharing the music that’s illegal, it’s copying them period that makes it illegal.

But we already know that you’re a rebel 🙂
