I met Jonathan David Smyth through our mutual friend and collaborator luke kurtis of bd-studios.com. I was really excited to talk with him about his debut monograph, Just One More: Self-Portraits 2012-2017. I continue to be intrigued by Jonathan’s photos, and even more so by his video and text work, which you should absolutely check out on his website.

Enjoy the podcast, and if you’d like to help support the show and my other work, subscribe to my Patreon page or make a one time tax-deductible donation here.

Jonathan David Smyth is an artist working with photography, video, performance, and incorporated text.
