This afternoon, I interviewed filmmaker Jamie Moffett about his upcoming film The Ordinary Radicals. The topic of Christianity and Homosexuality came up, which prompted him to send me this clip from the film. It is part of an interview with with author/ speaker/ general bad-ass Shane Claiborne.
Look for my interview with Jamie on Monday.

I have been working on this for about a week. this is it on youtube, but you should really turn off the lights and play the higher quality version on your full screen. I am kinda proud of this. I shot everything except for a few seconds I swiped from insane films and Strengthnet.
This is Jamie Moffett’s film about the 7-alarm fire in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood. The fire destroyed nine houses, caused over 100 people to be evacuated and left 400 families without power. One of the houses destroyed was a part of The Simple Way community who’s founder, Shane Claiborne, was on the show a few episodes back. Seeing the hope of the people in the neighborhood certainly puts things in perspective for me about the things in my life I feel hopeless about.
If you would like to help, stop by The Simple Way’s Website where there are links to various funds that have been set up to help all of the families affected by the fire.

Tomorrow’s show will feature an interview with Dominic Walsh of Dominic Walsh Dance Theater. Here’s a portion of a piece he choreographed and danced entitled Katharsis.
Special thanks to my extra-special roomate Brandon Peters for his Mac-assistance in getting this file ripped from dvd and converted to a format that will delight your eyes.
