About Michael Harren

Brooklyn-based composer and performer Michael Harren combines elements of classical composition with experimental electronics and storytelling to create hypnotic and boldly intimate work that walks the line between Laurie Anderson, Peter Gabriel and Dead Can Dance.

You might be shocked at my reaction on this, but if the stories about Frances getting screwed over by the DA are true, then she most certainly deserves another trial and a fair chance to defend herself (and get proper representation in doing so).

Normally, I’m outraged by Hollywood/Rockstar publicity-whores like Danny Glover or Bianca Jagger demonstrating in Huntsville, or newslooters like Cristiane Amanpour producing huggy-puff pieces on cold-blooded killers like she did with Napoleon Beasely. I have fond memories of a live feed of Quannel X stalking around like a jackass, showing off for the cameras while racking an empty shotgun over and over.

But in this case, I have a lot of concerns about the mistakes that have been made, and Perry needs to stop the clock, or at least hit the snooze button to review things.

Thanks for speaking out on this. I really need to link over to you on it.
