About Michael Harren

The new setup sounds great. It took me a few listens to appreciate “Myriad Harbor.” Was cool to hear it on your show. And in regards to the “Juno” soundtrack, have you seen this?

Myriad Harbor was the first song to jump out at me from that album. Somehow it is reminiscent to me of The Pixies “I Bleed.” not sure why, besides the boy/girl vocals. maybe I should sneak it into a podcast, 4AD never said their artists *weren’t* podsafe. 😀

Thanks for the link to the Jim DeRogatis article. Did you notice that Kimya commented on that? I think he is kinda full of shit. I get what he is saying on many count’s, but I find Kimya’s music to be so sincere and playful. The show of her’s I saw this weekend was great, and she seems even more human to me than ever. I adore her.

DeRogatis wrote favorable about Yoko Ono on his blog, so he is redeemed in my book. She is one of my all time favorites.
