MikeyPod 226 | Writer and Performer Ben Rimalower

February 13, 2017 by Michael Harren

Ben Rimalower‘s solo show, Bad With Money, made such a big impact on me when I saw it at The Duplex that I tracked him down on Facebook the moment I got home to send him the greatest fan letter of all time. Ben’s work hits the perfect combination of poignant, hilarious, and courageous in way that makes for perfect theater. I loved chatting with Ben about his path from director to solo performer. We talk inspiration, fear, addiction and everything in between.

Ben Rimalower is the author and star of Off-Off-Broadway’s long-running, critically acclaimed, smash hit solo plays Bad with Money  (The Advocate’s #1 Solo Show of 2014) and Patti Issues (New York Time Critics Pick, M.A.C. and Bistro Awards, Official Selection: Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Eugene O’Neill Theater Center Summer Conference), both of which he continues to perform around the world.

Visit Ben’s website, and follow him on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
